Using the waterborne Ultra Primer as a primer and intermediate paint to ensure adhesion makes easier to coat the exterior board cladding. Retards discoloration due to the natural seepage of wood extractives through the paint.
Ultra Primer can be tinted to the color of the topcoat, reducing the amount of finishing paint needed. One layer of topcoat is usually sufficient. Finishing also takes less time, as brushing is easier.
The natural expansion and contraction of wood and its discolorations cannot always be avoided. Ultra Primer is optimized to retard the appearance of resin and other bleeding through the paint.
Ultra Primer protects a house under construction from moisture, and if you are building in the winter, you can safely leave the topcoat to be applied in the spring.
